What we did

Posturite had been working with Orange (now EE) for a number of years, providing chairs on a ‘reactive basis’, for individuals with specific musculoskeletal issues. It was decided that the chairs throughout the call centres needed to be replaced. After a lengthy trial process of a number of chairs from Posturite and other suppliers, the HÅG H04 was chosen as the right solution for their call centre staff. Posturite supplied, delivered and set up 2,950 ergonomic office chairs in locations in Darlington, North Tyneside, Bristol and Plymouth. We also collected, reused, recycled and disposed of 2,500 redundant chairs. All work was completed inside four weeks from receipt of order. The primary objectives were met and the spend on specialist seating reduced by 90% in the year following the installation of the chairs.

Product profile

HÅG H04

HÅG H04 4600 is the high back version of the tried and tested HÅG H04 range, the best-selling office chair in Scandinavia. It was important to find a chair which was going to withstand the rigours of a call centre environment, as well as offering the right adjustment, and outstanding ergonomic function. Adaptable to a huge range of users, the H04 is designed to offer a greater freedom of movement whilst sitting. After a 6 month trial process, the decision to use Posturite was made more compelling by the 10-year warranty, the 15-year life expectancy of the HÅG H04.
